DLS vision in line with Government recommendations

On Tuesday, 26 March 2013, Secretary of State for health Jeremy Hunt made a statement on behalf of the Government that provided an initial response to the report of the Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust Public Inquiry, more commonly known as the Francis Report.

Whilst it did not respond to every one of the 290 recommendations outlined by Sir Robert Francis in his report, this statement did set out initial measures being taken to address 5 key areas. Full details of these measures can be found here on the NHS local Blog.

DLS to attend inaugural Life Science Summit
