We work with acute healthcare providers to improve care and efficiency through creating digital pathways using our DLS Prescribe service. Specialists can prescribe videos to patients, explaining their condition, introducing them to the team, featuring other patients with the same condition or explaining how to self care.
These videos, often featuring themselves, are sent to patients with a personal message through email and have been proven to improve the quality of consultations with patients see specialists face to face.
We also help acute hospitals transform their businesses into Primary and Acute Care Systems, as set out in NHS England’s Five Year Forward View. We do this through creating Health Hubs that connect registered patients with groups of primary care providers, integrating with NHS 111 and A&E services.
Patients can contact the Hubs by website, phone or app and doctors and other primary care professionals call them back by phone or by Skype. Where patients need a face-to-face appointment, they are offered one that day. This service, which is offered from 8am-8pm and at weekends, acts as a triage to A&E greatly reduces demand on A&E services.
